CARDIAC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM NEPAL MISSION NOVEMBER 23-DECEMBER 4, 2015 After a stuttering start with the May 2015 mission interrupted by the massive earthquake disaster CardioStart was finally able to start the surgical mission at Kathmandu University Hospital, Dhulikhel, Nepal on its return visit later in the year. Brazil Mission Report

2014 Mission to São Luís, Brazil August 31-September 14, 2014 Hospital Universitário da Universidade Federal do Maranhão (Hospital Materno Infantile and Hospital Presidente Dutra)   On August 31, 2014 a team of 22 CardioStart volunteers including 2 outreach personnel began a partnership with the Federal Hospital of Sao Luiz, Brazil, which provides free care to impoverished patients in the region of Maranhao State and the Pediatric Hospital. Dominican Republic Report

MISSION # 61 CARDIAC PROGRAM BUILDING IN SANTO DOMINGO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC APRIL 2014 In collaboration with Heart Care Dominica (HCD), CardioStart International returned to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic for another successful heart surgery mission. 2013 Peru Mission Report

On October 6, 2013, CardioStart International performed their 11th Cardiac surgery mission to Arequipa Peru under the direction of Dr. Mariano Brizzio.  A team of 28 volunteers hailing from 5 countries joined together at Honorio Delgado Hospital to give the gift of life to 10 adults and 2 children.  Many of the cases were multiple cardiac surgery interventions yet all did well and were discharged within a week of the team leaving the country.
