A Charity Social Event for Friends of Heart Health
Join us in celebrating National Heart Month and CardioStart International’s Mission for heart care!
We are very pleased to announce The Rotary Club of FishHawk-Riverview will host a fundraiser wine and beer tasting, with tapas, buffet and entertainment, in honor of National Heart Month and in support of CardioStart International. This event will take place at The Palmetto Club at FishHawk Ranch, on February 19, 2016 with a cocktail hour the evening at 6pm and the buffet at 7pm. The event cost will be $60 per person. Proceeds from the grant event will go to assist in CardioStart’s heart surgery missions in developing countries, including Nepal and the Dominican Republic, and in upcoming 2016 missions.
The evening includes a wine and local craft beer tasting, tapas and buffet from amazing local establishment, live music, and highlights from CardioStart’s recent international work and missions training. CardioStart International has been a registered non-profit in Tampa FL since 1987. For over 25 years the charity has through international volunteers assisted to perform and improve cardiac services in more than 25 countries via education, equipment, supply donation and ongoing support. All surgical care is provided free of charge to children and adults in need of cardiac care. Local clinics and public health education is also provided to improve general health services.
