MISSION # 61 CARDIAC PROGRAM BUILDING IN SANTO DOMINGO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC APRIL 2014 In collaboration with Heart Care Dominica (HCD), CardioStart International returned to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic for another successful heart surgery mission. The mission took place at Corozones Unidos Hospital with a focus on adult patient cardiac surgery and education. On October 6, 2013, CardioStart International performed their 11th Cardiac surgery mission to Arequipa Peru under the direction of Dr. Mariano Brizzio. A team of 28 volunteers hailing from 5 countries joined together at Honorio Delgado Hospital to give the gift of life to 10 adults and 2 children.
