CardioStart is excited to announce a medical outreach mission in a community health organization at the mouth of the Amazon River. Experienced healthcare providers are invited to participate, as well as students interested in volunteering in this underserved community.
Despite having the largest population in Africa, the country of Nigeria has no established cardiac surgical programs. An estimated 95% of all Nigerians live without essential medical services. In light of this urgent need, CardioStart has decided to expand cardiovascular surgery programs in this country by organizing this mission to Lagos in June
