On October 8th, 2022, CardioStart International embarked on one of our most collaborative efforts to date in Nigeria with two of our valued University hospital partners, advancing 3 distinct programs in 2 different states: University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital in Enugu (UNTH) and Lagos State University Teaching Hospital in Lagos (LASUTH).
After a year of COVID restriction, CardioStart was finally able to return to missions and a fourth return mission to The Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute.
Nicola holds an MBA from IE Business School and a Cyber Security for Business Leaders certification from Oxford University. She is passionate about equality having co-chaired the LGBT Latin America Network for Mastercard and is also an Ambassador for the UK’s Women of the Future programme.

This one-week mission will focus on managing pediatric cardiac congenital surgery and adult catheterization lab procedures.
