CARDIAC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM NEPAL MISSION NOVEMBER 23-DECEMBER 4, 2015 After a stuttering start with the May 2015 mission interrupted by the massive earthquake disaster CardioStart was finally able to start the surgical mission at Kathmandu University Hospital, Dhulikhel, Nepal on its return visit later in the year. Nepal Mission 2015 Update!

On April 25, 2015 a massive earthquake, registering at 7.8, struck Nepal outside of Kathamandu, with aftershocks rippling as far as to Pakistan and Bangladesh. This powerful earthquake demolished a great deal of the country and many people are in dire need. As CardioStart International was already scheduled to be there on a mission, we will continue our humanitarian efforts, and provide heart related medical care as well as emergency medical relief for the affected people. MISSION INVITATION DHULIKHEL HOSPITAL/KATHMANDU UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL, NEPAL May 3-16, 2015   You are cordially invited to participate in the 2015 inaugural mission to Dhulikhel Hospital in Nepal. This 225-bed community supported hospital is expanding services to 2.5 million Nepalese to include full cardiac services.
